First Shots, An Introduction To Shooting

First Shots is a beginner-friendly firearms course that combines classroom instruction with live range training in a welcoming and supportive environment. This program is uniquely designed to eliminate any anxiety you may have about firearms and shooting while providing a safe, fun, and educational experience. Our experienced instructors will guide you through firearm safety, basic shooting fundamentals, and range procedures, helping you build confidence and develop essential skills. By the end of the course, you'll leave The Bullet Hole feeling comfortable with firearms, confident in your abilities, and ready to continue advancing your shooting knowledge and skills. What to Bring If you own a handgun, feel free to bring it to class. If you do not own a handgun, The Bullet Hole offers a variety of handguns and ammunition available for rent. For many new shooters, we recommend renting a handgun during the course. This allows you to try different models and determine which firearm best fits your needs and comfort level. What Safety Gear Is Provided? Sabin Academy of Firearms Education provides all required safety equipment for the course, including eye protection and hearing protection. You're welcome to bring your own ear and eye protection if you prefer, but it is not required.
